Every time facebook does a redesign, the basic concept is sound but they manage to get the specifics wrong. I was enthusiastic when they moved to a real time streaming feed system but not so much after I discovered they removed the filtering algorithm at the same time which allows this sort of thing:

    yeah. facebook changes to much for my liking. twitter doesn't offer enough. myspace is too cluttered and just looks awful. I did however set up an account at www.putiton.com It's some sort of new site geared toward music and the arts. I'l let you know how this goes....

  • Not just the aggregator, they seem to have turned off or drastically turned down the filter that shows you only relevant content. It means that any one of my friends can (and have) dominated half my feed with nothing I can do about it.

    I don't get it. Are you just talking about the feed item aggregator they turned off that used to turn things like perhaps this into "xianhang posted 5 photos"?
